Tao San Jin in Oakley

I love this place. When I go there I get the potstickers and the hot and sour soup and that is to die for I would definitely recommend going there. There food is so amazing. I have been going there for a long time now. They are definitely one of the best Chinese food restaurant around.

Friendly and fast

Usually good sevice...always good food. Today had to keep asking or reminding them numerous times for drink and food items.

My family and I ordered food for the 1st time, and it was amazing. This is the first Chinese restaurant that we have LOVED since moving here. This is a new family favorite.

The service is great. The chicken was chewy. We ordered crispy chicken. It's ok but doesn't really measure up to the one they had in Antioch.

Good food, pretty good service. The fried rice isn't usually made with soy sauce, allowing for sodium contentious diets, but can be upon request. I've been here twice now and both times the flavor and service were consistent.

Normally I have had good luck at TSJ, HOWEVER last night I had the absolute worst service experience there ever. I will have to see if I want to return. Food was still very good

Whenever I'm in the area I always make it a point to come here. The lunch specials are not o ly a great value becuase the portions are plentiful but they are also delicious. I usually get the Crispy Chicken with Spicy Garlic sauce on the side over vegetable fried rice. The lunch special also comes with soup and appetizer.The chicken was moist in the middle and the soup and appetizer came out piping hot, I almost burnt my tongue becuase I couldn't wait to dig in.The service was on point. My glass was never empty and just the right amount of checking in and friendly conversation with the staff and owner Lilian.I highly recommend this place. Ask about their off the menus special like: Mango Jumbo prawns. It's to die for!

Great food. Loved it. Meals and drinks come fast enough and very tasty. Love their ice tea too. Great place to take the family.

Excellent atmosphere with most employees adding to the great experience and the food at this fine establishment is excellent so I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the area.

I absolutely love this place it has such great service and food!! In my opinion it is MUCH better than Panda Express. Whenever I suggest Chinese for dinner this is always the place everyone asks for!!!

The food is amazing!

This place is great, if you like your chicken undercooked ,the meat was squishy, pink in the middle and rancid . We explained to the cook/manager that this meat was bad, she immediately wanted to argue how it didn't make sense to her. I think they try to push all of the expired meat on to the senior citizens that were there. Save yourself, dont waste your time and money

Restaurant always has foot traffic so have patience. There aren't alot of traditional Chinese restaurants in the area and they are the best.

Favorite Chinese Restaurant, been a customer since they opened. Cozy place with linen tablecloths, excellent food and service. I am moving out of the area next month and will miss this place. Give this place a try, it will soon be on your favorite list too.

Food is good, but be careful ordering the special dinner package. Ordered 6 at $21.55 each plus 2 additional chow mien, total of $182.00 without tip. Very small portions! Each dish came in a regular sized styrofoam container supposed to feed 6 adults. The honey walnut shrimp was exactly 6 pieces! In hindsight, I could have ordered from Panda Express for half the price.

The best chicken salad ever!

Its hit and miss. I have tried most of the chinese restraunts in Brentwood. This is the only place that passes as decent chinese food for me. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes its not so good. Stay away from the Won Ton soup its terrible. I have been going here for years and the bottom line is the food is hit and miss. good luck

Overpriced, its hit and miss. You have to know what to order here. Their honey walnut shrimp was the best thing I tried I'll go back for that but nothing else really!

I eat here often for lunch. The service is excellent. The food is above average and the restaurant is always very clean.

Not great. Tables so close together there is zero privacy. Service was spotty. My rice got cold before my entree was delivered, egg rolls tasted odd and the soup was lukewarm. Much better places to eat. The Antioch location was always so good but closed years ago.

Paid $55 for a multi course meal and not 1 course was good! Will never go back again!

Great food great service

Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. Lunch menu is extensive with reasonable pricing. Each lunch comes with soup, appetizers and you can have fried rice at no extra cost, and a large portion of the entree.

I REALLY love this place. Has been a go to Chinese Restaurant for years. Fully recommend ,Their Lemon or Sweet and Sour chicken. Also their Barbecue pork rice. Yummy!!!! Great Service.

some of the food was overcooked. And some of the beer was under poured. New management? it's been 6 months since I've been there and they just seem to miss the mark this time. Hopefully just a bad day.

Love this place. Service is great. I've been coming for a few years. I always get the won ton soup. Excellent. I have tried other dishes and they were also very good. Nice atmosphere.

Excellent food, service

It smelled so great walking in. The portions are a good size. We ordered chicken chow mein, egg rolls, cream cheese puffs, sesame chicken, Mongolian chicken, and vegetable fried rice. The food had a great taste but the texture was off. ALL of our chicken dishes the chicken was rubbery. I noticed it at first then when my husband noticed I barely touched the Mongolian chicken he asked why and he who is not picky at all said his chicken chow mein and the sesame chicken was the same texture. Super disappointing for the 80 dollar ticket, and honestly it was so rubbery I’m not sure of the leftovers will be any good. Flavors were on point though.
